The 15th Annual Healthiest State Walk presented by Delta Dental of Iowa is an opportunity to join thousands of other Iowans statewide in walking for 30 minutes to raise awareness of the importance of physical and mental well-being in Iowa. Workplaces, schools, organizations and cities are all encouraged to register a walk for free!
You don’t have to be a marathon runner to take care of your mental and physical health. What matters is that you start somewhere, whether that be a daily walk or a healthier breakfast, small steps can make huge impacts on our health.
In Perry, DMACC VanKirk Career Academy will lead the local initiative for a 20 minute walk. Those wanting to participate should meet in the front lobby of DMACC (1011 2nd Street) for this "Brain Break" to take part in the statewide 15th Annual Walk.
