A favorite Perry tradition continues with The Lighted Parade & Holiday Celebration, Presented by ITC Midwest on Friday, November 23rd! The Perry Chamber of Commerce invites the Perry community to participate in this celebration as an official kick-off of the holiday season!
A number of stores will be open late that night, but all downtown lights will go dark at 7pm in anticipation of the Lighted Parade! Line-up begins at 6pm at 2nd & Otley and there are prizes for best, biggest, and brightest lighted parade floats! Please no candy for safety reasons.
Who else would be the grand finale in the parade other than Santa?! Following the parade, Santa will arrive at La Poste, LLC to greet Christmas wishes with open arms and open ears. Youth singers will perform there at 8 pm.
The holiday spirit will be alive and well with many other activities downtown including the Carnegie Library Museum's Festival of Trees 6-8pm, a pancake dinner at Hotel Pattee and cookie decorating at Frio, both 5-10pm, plus the Perry High School Choir performing at the Hotel at 8:30pm followed by Genevieve Michele Walczyk, the One-Woman Symphony, at 9pm. Additional activities include hot chocolate at Perry Perk, Junior Class S'mores Fundraiser in Soumas Court, and carolers throughout downtown!
Bundle up and join us for this very special Perry holiday tradition!
A special thank you to ITC Midwest as the presenting sponsor for this event!
