The Program Coordinator works collaboratively as part of a team with other office staff members and reports directly to the Regional Director.
The Program Coordinator builds and maintains strong relationships with Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Program Specialists and community partners to secure resources necessary to deliver high-quality educational programming.
Responsibilities include:
✔️Work with the local Extension Council and Regional Director to develop long-term goals and strategies that support county and regional programming priorities.
✔️Plan, coordinate, and implement educational programming in collaboration with Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Program Specialists and community partners.
✔️Provide direct instruction in areas of programming expertise.
✔️Provide leadership and instruction for existing youth programs, including Clover Kids, and school and library enrichment education.
✔️Identify innovative approaches to reach under-served and under-represented audiences.
